Early Voting

Early Voting has become popular in recent years because of the convenience of multiple days available to vote, and that no excuse is needed. Typically, more than half of all votes in an election in Plaquemines Parish are cast during the early voting period.

Early Voting is conducted by Plaquemines Parish Registrar of Voters, Sharon Branan. Voters residing anywhere in Plaquemines Parish may cast their vote early in person at any of the three locations listed below. Early Voting for the Saturday, November 13, 2021 election will be conducted 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30 through Saturday, November 6, (excluding Sunday, October 31).

Early Voting Locations:

  • Registrar of Voters Office – 28028 Hwy. 23, Port Sulphur
  • Courthouse Annex Building – 301 Main St., Belle Chasse
  • Percy Griffin Community Center – 15577 Hwy. 15, Davant (open only on Saturday, October 30 and Saturday, November 6)
